Yr 4 Photography

Our year 4's have been learning more about the elements of art (line, shape, form, space, colour, value, tone and texture) through the medium of photography. To understand how to take better quality photos, we have also explored a few techniques such as Rule of thirds, lighting, macro, depth of field and framing.

Some of us watched 'The Block' this week on TV and understand how a photo can be transformed into a work of art with the modern technology that we have today.

Ms Parker now hopes we view our environment through a 'photographer's eyes' and appreciate the beauty and creative potential within us and around us!

Here are a few examples of our fabulous photos taken with our ipads.
